Passionate Care for Your Pets: Canine and Equine Massage Therapy Excellence
I started this journey to help my own animals. My game horse would get massages after a busy weekend. Then I had an aging set of hunting dogs that I wanted them to enjoy their time in the field with us. At that time there was a great massage therapist, Michelle, that would come to agility trials. It got me thinking of how I could help my animals since I lived so about an hour away from the cites at that time.
I looked into where I could learn animal massage, when I was looking I found the Rocky Mountain School of Animal Acupressure and Massage (RMSAAM) that taught animal massage for canine and equine massage. After I became certificated in canine at first, I went back to learn equine massage so that I also help my horses. I love being able to learn something new with every animal I help. Through RMSAAM, I was also able to learn from Ken Bain, how to perform Trigger Point Release technique on canine. It is so amazing seeing how much range of motion is restored by releasing a trigger point.
Well learning about other modalities of ways I could help animal live a healthier life. I was introduced to Pulsating Electric Magnetic Fields (PEMF). I started with a response bed system and I loved the benefits that the low frequency was providing to the canine. I was working with I wanted a system that I could use on both canine and equine. That is when I learned about Magnawave, which is a high frequency PEMF system. The main different that between the high and the low is the amount of that the system need to be on the animal. With magnawave the animal does not need long treatment times and the results can last up to 3 days.
Through my networking with the Magnawave community, I have been able to met some amazing people that have introduced me to some amazing products that help me and my animals healthy and happy. I will share those products with you on the products that I love page. I also had the pleasure of meeting Greg and Jill from Therassage school that have helped me learned more modalities to help animals feel and preform to their highest level.
